Job Summary:- The Senior Chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, preparing high-quality meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of high-quality meals.
- Plan menus and develop new recipes.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities.
- Ensure proper food presentation and quality standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and control food costs.
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff.
- Manage kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.
Qualification and Skills
Education:-
- Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management, Food Preparation, or related field.
Experiance:-
- 3 years of Proven experience as a Chef preferably in a senior role.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Experience in international cuisine is advantageous.
