About the Role

The accountant will manage project-specific accounting, client invoices, and financial reporting to support financial operations. This role ensures accurate tracking of project costs, revenue recognition, and compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for all consultancy projects

• Track project budgets, costs, and profitability

• Prepare and issue client invoices based on contracts, milestones, or deliverables

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments

• Record expenses and allocate costs to specific projects or clients

• Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations

• Support budgeting and forecasting, particularly for project pipelines

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements

• Assist in audit preparation and financial documentation

• Monitor cash flow related to project payments and expenses

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.

Experience

• 3–5 years of accounting experience (consultancy or project-based experience preferred)

• Strong understanding of project accounting and revenue recognition

• Experience with client billing and contract-based financial tracking

• Strong Excel skills

• Knowledge of tax compliance and financial regulations

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications
