The company is looking for experienced Accountants who can effectively manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations.
Position Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting the company's overall financial management. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with computerized accounting systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
Analyze financial data and monitor business expenditures.
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management.
Support financial reporting for shareholders and regulatory authorities.
Prepare and file business tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Operate and maintain computerized accounting systems.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and other accounting activities as assigned.
Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to reconcile financial records and identify discrepancies.
Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
