MALTT Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess robust financial acumen, a deep understanding of Ethiopian tax regulations, and a commitment to professional integrity. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organization and ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

• Tax Compliance & Management: Manage all statutory tax filings, including VAT, Pension, and Salary Tax, ensuring timely submission to the Ministry of Revenue.

• Liaison & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for government authorities (Ministry of Revenue) and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Audit Readiness & Documentation: Systematically organize and maintain all income and expenditure vouchers to ensure the organization is consistently prepared for internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive professional experience in accounting.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree/Sage 50) and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.).

• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical skills, efficiency in handling complex paperwork, and a high degree of trustworthiness and professional ethics.
