Organization: Development Expertise Center (DEC) Ethiopia
The Admin and Finance Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, financial, and logistical support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the organization/project. The position ensures proper financial documentation, compliance with policies and procedures, and smooth administrative services to staff, partners, and Donors
Assist in preparing payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
Assist in preparing monthly bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
Collect, review, and verify invoices, expense reports, and supporting documents before processing payments.
Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with donor, government, and organizational financial regulations.
Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and trainings (booking venues, refreshments, materials, etc.).
Maintain proper records of office assets, inventories, and supplies.
Assist in procurement processes by collecting quotations and preparing purchase requests
Perform other relevant tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or the management of the organization

Educational Qualifications and Experience
BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in administration and finance (preferably in NGO/CSO).
Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or others) is an advantage.
