Description of the Project:

The project aims to improve the employability of young Ethiopians in the horticulture sector and strengthen the competitiveness of horticulture companies by improving the relevance, quality and institutional sustainability of horticulture-related skills development.

The project strengthens the enabling environment and coordination mechanisms for horticulture skills development, builds the capacity of the Ethiopian Horticulture Producers and Exporters Association (EHPEA), the Horticulture Sector Skills Committee (HSSC) and horticulture companies, and supports the delivery of cooperative and short-term training through TVET institutions and companies.
