ur Company is a modern agribusiness operating in the Awash area of the Afar Region. The farm specialises in the production of beans, bananas, onions, animal feed, and other cash crops. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Farm Manager to lead our agricultural operations.

The Farm Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all farming activities to ensure efficient and productive operations across crop and animal feed production units.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the cultivation and harvesting of beans, bananas, onions, animal feed, and other crops.

• Plan and implement irrigation, pest control, and fertilizer management programs.

• Supervise and train farm workers and technical staff.

• Manage farm equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

• Monitor crop performance and prepare regular farm reports.

• Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to production targets.

• Implement sustainable and cost-effective farming practices.

Job Requirement:

Required Qualifications:

• Education: BSc Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Plant Science, Horticulture, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Farm Manager — preferably in the Afar Region (Awash area).

• Strong knowledge of crop management, irrigation systems, and farm machinery.

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in rural and field environments.
