Job Purpose
As the Alliance & Vendor Management Officer, you will be at the centre of the company's external relationships, managing and strengthening partnerships with key vendors, partners, and distributors. Acting as the primary liaison between the company and its external stakeholders, you will drive collaboration and performance across solution domains while staying closely aligned with market needs and strategic business objectives.
You will take full ownership of both the strategic and operational dimensions of vendor and partner management, developing partnership strategies, negotiating and managing contracts, and ensuring ongoing compliance. By building strong, productive relationships, you will deliver tangible value to the business, monitor performance, and address issues decisively as they arise. Regular market research will keep the company ahead of industry trends and competitive shifts.
Internally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure vendor activities are well-coordinated and aligned with broader organisational goals. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement across all partnerships and manage the associated budget with care and accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor and partnership management strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
Work with the Alliances & Vendor Management team, ensuring alignment with overall business and market needs.
Identify and address knowledge gaps within the sales and solution team, recommending and facilitating training and development opportunities.
Maintain and enhance relationships with key vendors, partners, and distributors.
Oversee the onboarding of new vendors and partnerships as necessary.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with vendors to optimize product offerings and market presence.
Oversee market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Leverage market insights to inform product strategy and development.
Work with the team in designing and optimizing solutions that meet customer requirements.
Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, system specifications, and solution architecture.
Collaborate with sales and solution teams to develop and implement sales strategies driven by market research.
Ensure that the team effectively drives sales initiatives and pre-sales activities based on identified market needs.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive product and go-to-market strategies.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the team and other business units.
Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Development Manager on performance, market trends and strategic initiatives.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Proven working experience as a Product Manager, business analyst, or a relevant role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Additional certifications of project management, data analytics are a plus.
