Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia: Safely deliver anesthesia depending on the procedure.

• Patient assessment: Evaluate patients’ medical history, allergies, and current medications to determine the safest anesthesia plan.

• Pain management: Develop strategies for managing acute and chronic pain, including post-operative care.

• Monitoring vital signs: Continuously track heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vital functions during surgery.

• Emergency response: Handle complications such as allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, or unexpected changes in patient condition.

• Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.

• Post-operative care: Oversee recovery from anesthesia, manage side effects, and ensure patient comfort.

Job Requirements

3 years for MA/MSc and 5 years for BA/BSc degree directly relevant experience
