Job Purpose

The assistant coffee jute bag printing operator supports the printing in preparing, operating, and maintaining printing equipment used for branding, carving and labeling coffee jute bags. This role ensures that printed packaging meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Production Support: Loading, unloading, and feeding raw materials into printing machinery, as well as stacking or printing finished jute products according to specifications.

• Prepare inks, dyes, and print plates according to production requirements.

• Monitor printing runs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment.

• Setup & Maintenance: Assisting in setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment. 

• Performing daily cleaning and routine preventative maintenance like lubrication to prevent downtime.

• Follow workplace safety protocols, including PPE usage.

• Operational Assistance: Helping the jute bag printing operator with machine changeovers, printing and painting the jute bags. 

• Monitoring machinery for proper function and acting as an assistant to the coffee production team.

• Quality Control & Safety: Inspecting materials for defects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

• Report and correct printing errors or machine malfunctions.

• Material Handling: Load and unload jute bags before and after printing

• Maintain proper storage of inks, chemicals, and raw materials.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or TVTE.

• Experience: Previous experience two (2) years and above in coffee manufacturing, coffee jute bag printing and production, or industrial environment is often preferred but not always required.

• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of jute bag printing machinery, ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, technical tools), and troubleshooting skills.

• Physical ability to lift and move jute bags and operate machinery.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn.
