Position Overview/Scope of role:

The associate trainer supports the company’s workforce development program by developing basic technical training, conducting skill assessment and assisting senior trainers in building and road construction related training activities. The position ensures consistent on-site training delivery that meets company standards and project requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Training delivery

. Deliver basic technical sessions for building and road construction (Formwork, masonry, rebar, concrete, finishing, road work, culvert and so on)

. Support senior trainers in conducting advanced or specialised training.

. Conduct daily toolbox training and skill refreshment sessions at site. 

. Prepare and maintain training materials check list, and tools required for training.

• Skill Assessment and certification 

. Conduct trainee per-assessment and post assessment using company standards.

. Support COC (competency certification) candidate preparation and documentation 

. Assist in evaluating junior foreman skilled labourers and helpers for competency level improvement 

• Training coordination and administration

. Prepare daily and weekly training reports accurately and on time

. Coordination with site engineers, site foreman and project management to identify training needs

. Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records and training files

. Support in organising internal training events, refresher session and certificate program.

• Site engagement 

. Provide onsite job coaching to workers under the supervision of senior trainers

. Ensure safe training practices and compliance with the company’s HSE guidelines

Qualifications and Experience

BSC in civil engineering or construction management
