Job Summary

The Audit Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing internal audit assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The role also provides guidance to audit staff and ensures timely completion of audit engagements.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or with related field of study

• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or equivalent is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit experience, including supervisory experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise internal audit engagements.

• Review financial, operational, and compliance processes to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.

• Identify risks and recommend practical corrective actions.

• Prepare and review audit working papers and audit reports.

• Ensure audit assignments are completed on time and in accordance with internal auditing standards.

• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate junior auditors.

• Assist in developing the annual risk-based internal audit plan.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software.
