Job Requirements

Required Qualification and Experience:

MA and above level of qualification in aviation fields of study such as Aeronautics, aerospace/aeronautics engineering and related aviation fields of study;

• License from Ethiopia Civil Aviation Authority and/or Federal Aviation Administration is an advantage;

• Adequate understanding and experience of aviation related academic programs, curriculums and other educational dynamics;

• Have 5 years’ experience in higher education, particularly in aviation focused higher education institutes;

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership position in aviation focused higher education institutes;

• Proven knowledge and experience in overseeing academic programs, faculty development, and administrative operations;

• Hands on experience in providing leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of academic programs;

• Have understating and experience of managing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources;

• Have proven ability to develop policies and practices that promote academic achievement and institutional growth;

• Demonstrate proven ability to network with and to coordinate with National Aviation Authority, and other relevant aviation education institutes and organizations;
