Ahununu Trading P.L.C. is seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications, databases, and APIs that power our digital platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Build and integrate with third-party services and tools.

• Optimize backend performance, security, and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as required.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.

• Solid understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar).

• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
