To support our growing operations, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biomedical -Engineer to join our professional team.

Position Summary

Biomedical -Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire tender lifecycle, from the initial identification of opportunities to the final submission and follow-up. The ideal candidate will ensure that all bid documentation is accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements, and submitted within established deadlines to maximize our success rate in competitive bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Tender Identification & Tracking: Proactively identify, track, and analyze relevant government and private sector pharmaceutical and medical equipment tenders.

• Bid Preparation: Thoroughly review tender documents to understand technical specifications, legal requirements, and evaluation criteria.

• Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with sales, technical, and finance departments to gather necessary product information, pricing, and compliance documentation.

• eGP Management: Utilize the Ethiopian Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) system to register, download bid documents, submit electronic bids, and monitor tender updates.

• Submission & Compliance: Ensure all bid packages are prepared to the highest standard, meeting all administrative, technical, and financial requirements to ensure competitiveness and compliance.

• Post-Submission Follow-up: Monitor the status of submitted bids, handle clarifications, and track tender results to maintain detailed records.

• Documentation: Maintain a well-organized database of all tender-related documentation, including past submissions, contracts, and market intelligence.
   

Job Requirements

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical -Engineering.

Experience: A minimum of four years of proven experience in tender management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical equipment sector.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong proficiency in the Ethiopian Electronic Government Procurement (eGP) system.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
