Henosis Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd (HSACCO) is legally registered organization by the Cooperative Bureau of Nifas Silk Lafto Sub City. Henosis SACCO has a vision to be “one of the best SACCO in Ethiopia that fulfills its members’ economic and social needs by 2030” with mission of “Improving socio-economic conditions of members & other people through mobilizing saving and creating access of credit”.

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the overall activities of the branch office. S/he ensures efficient delivery of financial services, mobilization of savings, loan administration, member service improvement, and achievement of operational targets of the SACCO. The Branch Manager supervises branch employees, ensures compliance with cooperative policies and procedures, prepares branch performance reports, and promotes the growth and sustainability of the SACCO through effective leadership and relationship management with members and stakeholders. S/he is also responsible for monitoring financial performance, ensuring proper cash management, loan follow-up, and maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

1.6. Main Duties:

  • Plan, organize and supervise overall branch operations

  • Mobilize savings and expand membership growth

  • Monitor loan processing, disbursement, and recovery activities

  • Ensure proper financial management and daily cash control

  • Prepare and submit operational and financial reports

  • Supervise branch staff and evaluate performance

  • Ensure compliance with SACCO policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Maintain strong relationship with members and stakeholders

  • Promote quality customer service and operational efficiency

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • BA/MA Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Auditing, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years for BA Degree holders or 5 years for MA Degree holders, preferably in SACCO, cooperative, microfinance, or banking institutions, with managerial experience.
