1. The Role Summary:

The Brand Manager is primarily responsible for developing and constantly updating the brand strategy for Habesha Beer. The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing BTL marketing initiatives and activities to promote the Habesha brand. As the brand guardian, the Brand Manager is responsible for maintaining the brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications and maintaining good relationships with Habesha’s strategic partners and external contacts. The Brand Manager is responsible for uncovering consumer insights to deliver innovative marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.

  • Own the brand vision, positioning, architecture, and long-term growth plans.

  • Monitor brand health indicators and recommend actions to strengthen brand equity.

  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all consumer touchpoints.

Consumer & Market Insights

  • Conduct market analysis to identify consumer trends, opportunities, and emerging needs.

  • Translate consumer insights into actionable brand strategies and marketing initiatives.

  • Track competitor activities and market developments to identify growth opportunities.

  • Use data and insights to support decision-making and improve brand performance.

Marketing Campaign Development

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Develop impactful brand communication strategies across digital, traditional, and experiential channels.

  • Collaborate with creative agencies and partners to deliver engaging campaigns.

  • Measure campaign effectiveness and optimize activities to maximize impact.

Innovation & Portfolio Growth

  • Identify opportunities for new product development, brand extensions, and portfolio improvements.

  • Support innovation projects from concept development through market launch.

  • Ensure new initiatives align with consumer expectations and business priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to ensure effective market execution.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align brand activities with commercial objectives.

  • Manage relationships with agencies, suppliers, and external partners.

  • Support budget planning, monitoring, and efficient allocation of marketing resources.

Performance Management

  • Monitor brand performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.

  • Prepare regular brand performance reports and recommendations.

  • Manage brand budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market research, and marketing analytics.

  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
