Total Energies Marketing Ethiopia is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Card Back Office Representative to support the growth of our card business in a highly competitive and fast-evolving market. This role is critical to ensuring seamless card services, excellent customer experience, and strict compliance with internal control and HSEQ standards.

Total Energies Marketing Ethiopia S.C. is the local affiliate, established in 1950. It markets fuels, lubricants, and specialty products through a network of over 120 service stations across Ethiopia, serving both retail and direct customers.

Key Responsibilities

Card Requests & Personalization

  • Process customer requests for card creation, renewal, replacement, and cancellation.

  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely issuance of cards.

  • Manage card and tag personalization, distribution, customer collection, and record tracking.

  • Prepare and submit invoices for new and replacement cards.

Card Top-Ups & Reconciliation

  • Process card top-ups upon receipt of validated requests and confirmed payments.

  • Review and validate daily personalized card reports against supporting documentation.

  • Perform daily reconciliations to ensure consistency between customer requests and system records.

  • Maintain accurate filing of contracts, amendments, card orders, oppositions, and discharged cards.

  • Ensure systematic organization and archiving of customer-related documents.

  • Run and analyze the weekly Card Trial Balance.

  • Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Card Sales Manager.

  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or anomalies promptly.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: BA degree in Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, customer service, or related roles. 

  • Skills:  Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities, High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to excellence.

  • Language:  Excellent written and spoken English
