Job summary for Cashier position 

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, and journal entries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and process cash payments and issue receipts

  • Maintain accurate daily cash records and reports

  • Manage petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation

  • Ensure proper cash handling and security procedures

  • Assist the finance department with routine financial tasks and record keeping

  • Perform other duties assigned by Finance manager

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a cashier accountant in import & export industry 

  • Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and financial record keeping

  • Qty: 1

  • Afaan Oromo is Mandatory
