We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CCTV Camera Installation and Maintenance Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, delivering, and assessing training programs tailored to individuals or groups interested in CCTV system installation, operation, and maintenance. This role requires a strong technical background in CCTV systems, Networking as well as excellent communication and instructional skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Training Development:

• Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, manuals, and hands-on practical exercises focused on CCTV camera installation and maintenance.

• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to ensure the training curriculum remains relevant and effective.

Instruction and Delivery:

• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for various audiences, including technicians, security personnel, and business owners.

• Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, to cater to different learning styles.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and practical evaluations.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to trainees to help them improve their skills and knowledge.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various CCTV camera systems and associated technologies.

• Stay current with the latest security technologies and advancements in CCTV systems.

Safety and Compliance:

• Educate trainees on safety protocols and compliance standards related to CCTV installation and maintenance, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Support and Consultation:

• Offer ongoing support and consultation to trainees after the completion of training programs to foster continuous improvement and skill development.

• Assist in resolving technical issues or concerns related to CCTV systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes.

• Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding training effectiveness and participant feedback.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Expereince: 2 years Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems advantageous.

• Previous training or teaching experience, preferably in a TVET (minimum of 2 years preferred).

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of various CCTV technologies, including IP cameras, analog systems, DVR/NVR setup, video management systems and networking.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage and motivate individuals of varying skill levels.

• Relevant certifications in CCTV installation and maintenance (e.g., CCTV Technician Certification, Security System Technician Certification) are a plus.
