MMCY Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to lead food preparation for our corporate office canteen program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality meals, with a strong background in both traditional Ethiopian cuisine and European dishes. This role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts and the ability to adapt menus to suit a diverse professional environment. The Chef will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a consistent, nutritious, and timely meal service to staff.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
Monitor food quality and taste regularly, making adjustments based on feedback.
Manage inventory, food orders, and kitchen supplies efficiently.
Coordinate with canteen staff to ensure smooth meal service operations.
Design weekly menus considering nutrition, variety, and dietary restrictions.
Prepare meals for special company events when needed.
Work rotational shifts as part of the canteen’s operational schedule.
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a corporate or institutional setting.
Strong knowledge of both Ethiopian and European food preparation and presentation.
Experience working in diverse team environment, with an Excellent kitchen and time management skills.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with staff and management.
Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or related training preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver meals on a strict schedule.
Strong understanding of hygiene and health safety regulations.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including early mornings or afternoons as needed.
