JOB DESCRIPTION

The Chief Strategy Research Officer (CSRO) leads the Bank’s strategy research functions, overseeing the production of high-quality market analysis, investment insights, and strategic recommendations. The role supports informed decision-making, aligns research activities with the Bank’s strategic objectives, and delivers value to both internal stakeholders and clients.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement the Bank’s research strategy and lead the research team. 

• Market Analysis – Oversee market, economic, and sector analysis and provide investment insights. 

• Research Management – Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of research reports and recommendations. 

• Client Engagement – Present research findings and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. 

• Investment Advisory – Provide actionable investment recommendations and support investment decision-making. 

• Team Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and evaluate research staff to promote high performance. 

• Quality Assurance – Maintain research standards and implement best practices in analysis and reporting. 

• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. 

• Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with investment, portfolio management, and sales teams to align research with business needs. 

• Continuous Improvement – Drive innovation, process enhancements, and adoption of advanced research methodologies.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Education & Experience

• Master's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in research, investment analysis, or related roles within the financial services industry.

• Proven track record of leadership in a research or analytical capacity.

Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights to diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in research tools and software, as well as data analysis techniques.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic principles.
