Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide overall technical leadership and direction to the center team;
Supervise center service provider staff to ensure quality clinical service provision and periodically evaluate performances of center health providers conjointly with Centre head
Assess clinical competencies and training need for service providers and report to quality department
Examines in and out patients /clients in line with standard medical procedures using various types of diagnostic mechanisms;
Administers and prescribes drugs based on analysis of examination, test reports and findings and counseling services;
Ensure Performance permanent family planning methods and other procedures, after undertaking the required training program
Ensure performance comprehensive abortion cares according to FGAE guidelines
Puts the interest of clients/patients above all other considerations and Meeting patient needs; and ensures the confidentiality of all cases;
Ensures Maintenance of a safe, clean, orderly, and pleasant Clinic environment;
Ensures the maintenance of a high level standard consistent with available resources;
Participates in training programs, as and when deemed necessary;
Initiates or collaborates in research undertakings;
The protection of patients’ health, safety, and well-being;
Enforces FGAE Infection Prevention Standards for clinic.
Reporting information on suspect of abuse, neglect and exploitation for children & people with mental incompetence;
Meeting regulatory standards and other relevant laws
Responsible to report clinical incidents to Clinical Services Quality department according to FGAE Incident management policy
Ensures that clients' cards and other records are up-to-date, orderly, properly filed and readily retrievable for reference and inspection;
Performs circumcision
Participate in proposal write ups and resource mobilization
Performs related tasks as reasonably required
Job Requirements:
Education: MPH/MSc/BSc/BA in Public health ,Nursing , Business Administration, Health Management and related fields
Experience: 4 Years for MPH/MSc & r & 6 for BSc degree directly relevant experience ;
Awareness of MOH and donors’ guidelines; Conscious of government, FGAE and FGAE regulations; Awareness of concepts and strategies of quality care; Attendance of FGAE Pre-service training; Understanding the concepts of Client centered care; Understanding major policies/issues of government health policies, regional policies; Awareness of concepts of clinical competency; Basic computer skills; Pro-Choice
