Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified CNC and Leather Cutting Machine Operator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC and leather cutting machines to produce accurate and high-quality leather components according to production requirements. The role requires attention to detail, machine handling skills, and the ability to maintain production efficiency while following safety and quality standards.

The operator will prepare materials, set up machines, monitor cutting processes, inspect finished products, and perform basic machine maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing or leather production environments and be able to work effectively under production targets and deadlines.

Job Requirements

Education:

• TVET Certification or Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or with related field of study

Experience:

• 3-7 years

• Experience in leather products manufacturing.

• Previous experience operating CNC or leather cutting machines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and leather cutting machines efficiently and safely.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting patterns, and production instructions.

• Prepare materials and adjust machine settings for different cutting jobs.

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues.

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.

• Maintain accurate production records and minimize material waste.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and company regulations.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of machine programming and maintenance.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under production deadlines.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

• Understanding of quality control procedures.
