Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze plant samples to study their genetic, biochemical, and physiological characteristics, often using techniques like DNA sequencing.
• Conduct research experiments in laboratory and field settings to understand plant growth, development, and responses to pests, diseases, and climatic changes.
• Develop new plant varieties with improved traits such as higher yields, disease resistance, or drought tolerance.
• Collaborate with other scientists, agronomists, and biotechnologists to advance agricultural science.
• Publish research findings in scientific journals and present at academic or industry conferences.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Plant Science or in a related field of study with relevant work experience

Experience: 8-6 years
