We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coffee Procurement (Sourcing) officer to lead our sourcing and procurement operations for green coffee and related inputs. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of coffee supply chains, build strong relationships with suppliers and cooperatives, ensure quality and traceability, and align sourcing strategies with our sustainability and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for green coffee, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply continuity.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with producers, cooperatives, exporters, and brokers across coffee-growing regions.

• Lead price negotiations and contracts while managing risk, adhering to agreed-upon quality and delivery terms.

• Monitor global coffee markets, pricing trends, weather impacts, and socio-political factors affecting origin countries.

• Work closely with Quality Control to ensure green coffee meets intended quality standards.

• Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely shipment, storage, and traceability of green coffee.

• Maintain accurate sourcing records, pricing, contracts, and supplier scorecards.

• Assist in forecasting coffee procurement budgets and cost analysis.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, and Agriculture but not mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the coffee or agricultural commodities sector.

• Experience working with smallholder farmers or cooperatives at coffee production area.
