Job Purpose

The Concrete Plant Manager will be responsible to manage and oversee daily operations of the concrete batching plant, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, cost control, and adherence to safety standards while meeting project demands and optimizing plant performance.

Position Title: Concrete Plant Manager

Reports To: Chief Technical officer 

Duty Station: Jimma Housing Project 

Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the concrete batching plant to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Plan and control production schedules based on project demands.

• Ensure product quality complies with specifications and industry standards.

• Supervise plant personnel, equipment operators, and maintenance activities.

• Monitor inventory levels of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and other materials.

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

• Control production costs and optimize plant efficiency.

• Prepare production, quality, and performance reports for management review.
