Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors. 

• Ensure that work is progressing according to the project schedule. 

• Monitor quality control measures and ensure compliance with design specifications. 

• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and suppliers. 

• Interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications. 

• Provide technical guidance to construction crews. 

• Resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction. 

• Implement and enforce safety procedures on the construction site. 

• Conduct safety inspections and audits.

•  Identify and address potential safety hazards. 

• Establish and implement quality control measures. 

• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with standards. 

• Document quality control findings and take corrective actions as needed. 

• Track project progress and identify any deviations from the schedule. 

• Prepare progress reports and updates for project management. 47 

• Monitor project costs and identify potential cost-saving measures. 

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, Civil Engineering or relevant fields of study with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience.
