Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements

• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in Ethiopia

• Managing legal risks and advising management

• Handling corporate governance matters

• Liaising with external law firms and government authorities

• Supporting HR with labour law matters

• Managing disputes, claims, and litigation

• Reviewing procurement and vendor agreements
   

Skills

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation

• Knowledge of Ethiopian legal and regulatory environment

• High integrity and confidentiality

• Strong analytical and communication skills

Job Requirements

Education

• LL.B in Law (required)

• Experience

• 5+ years experience (preferably corporate or commercial law in an international company)

• Experience with contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance
