Roles & Responsibility

• Coordinate the month-end count, variance analysis, and collection of justifications for reporting to management. Conduct a surprise inventory count on different locations.

• Preparation of monthly internal reports in compliance with Group reporting requirements; such as COGS, benchmark reporting and precision reporting.

• Assist with the preparations of any reports needed for external audits, such as statutory financial audit, customs or tax audits.

• Preparation of margin analysis report as requested.

• Price volume mix analysis, profitability by SKU’s and by plants and provide detailed insights into business performance and support pricing decisions.

• Assist in preparation of budget document and its presentation to the local management by November of each year for the next budget year.

• Monthly reporting of production variance analysis to top management, followed by an investigation of gaps and corrective actions.

• Prepare a weekly consumption report, comparing actual cost to standard costs. Where there are over and underconsumption above the threshold, investigate the variance and recommend corrections. Manage standard cost maintenance and adjustments in consultation with production team and management

• Check that Production Orders are closed on a timely basis on SAP.

• Prepare the cost build up sheet and landed cost calculation for the direct and third-party imports

• Conduct a monthly cost-run analysis and allocate overhead costs. Cross check the classification of cost centres for material consumption and overheads to ensure that costs are charged to accurately.

• Analyse overhead costs and investigate where costs have exceeded budget or previous month’s trend.

• Prepare and share the monthly insurance report with the insurer.

• Assist with feasibility studies of new projects where necessary.

• Ensure that required PPE is worn at all times. Report all unsafe conditions, near misses and unsafe behaviors

Requirements

• Education :- BA degree in Accounting or Finance, Economics or other related field of studies

• Experience:- Minimum of 4 years of relevant financial experience, with at least 2 years as a cost accountant in the manufacturing sector in business partner is preferred but not essential

• Special Requirement :- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in SAP is preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate financial information effectively

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
