Visionary is a Media & Communication Group that is expanding from a film production company to create an industry-leading 3600 Media & Communication Group. Visionary is working to become a strategic engine for African storytelling.

THE ROLE

As the Creative Copywriter & Scriptwriter, you will be the Intellectual Architect of the Visionary engine, managing the narrative integrity from 15-second TVCs to feature-length documentaries. You will bridge the gap between creative advertising strategy and journalistic discipline to ensure every story meets the Visionary Standard. Your work will move beyond social media likes to craft campaigns that shape the national conversation.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 2–3 years of professional writing experience, Agency + Media/Journalism background preferred.

Technical Mastery: Proven ability to write scripts for TV, Film, and Digital Ads.

Bilingual: Fluency in Amharic and English, Written & Spoken.

Creative Sense: A cinematic "eye" for detail and a deep understanding of narrative psychology.

Portfolio: A portfolio that proves you can handle both Creative and Professional writing styles.
