Job Title: Creative Director

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

To lead the conceptualization and execution of creative strategies across all event properties—ensuring high- impact branding, compelling visual storytelling, and seamless design output across print, digital, and on-site event environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and direct creative concepts, themes, and design language for each event.

• Oversee visual brand consistency across all deliverables—logos, backdrops, signage, publications, digital campaigns, etc.

• Lead and mentor the graphics, visual communication, and content teams to deliver on-brand materials.

• Collaborate with event managers to ensure alignment between the event experience and visual outputs (e.g., stage setups, directional signage, sponsor booths).

• Approve final artworks and ensure files are production-ready for both digital and physical formats.

• Supervise the development of venue branding (entrance arches, information points, branded zones).

• Monitor creative workflows and project timelines across events.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related creative field.

• Minimum 5 years in a senior creative or art direction role, preferably in an event, agency, or media setting.

Key Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

• Conceptual strength in branding, layout,typography, and experiential design.

• Strong leadership, team management, and presentation skills.

• Ability to adapt design aesthetics to multiple industry verticals (agriculture, health, manufacturing, etc.).
