Job Description

As a Crushing Plant Site Industrial Electrical Technician, your role will primarily focus on maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment at a crushing plant site. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of electrical components to support the production processes

Job Requirements:

  • Education: TVET IV/III/II in  Electricity or with related field of study.

  • Experience: 3 years and above of working experience

  • Quantity Required: 5

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, motors, generators, and lighting systems.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failure or production disruptions.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.

  • Identify the root cause of electrical failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and restore operations.

  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and wiring.

  • Assist with the installation of new electrical systems or equipment, ensuring proper wiring, grounding, and connection to power sources.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into the overall plant infrastructure

  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards, develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and promote a safe working environment, ensure that the batching plant operations adhere to environmental regulations and best practices, particularly related to concrete waste management and pollution prevention.

  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the batching plant equipment, develop and implement maintenance schedules, coordinate with maintenance personnel or technicians, and ensure that necessary repairs and maintenance tasks are carried out promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Accurate documentation and reporting are essential for tracking batching plant operations and compliance, maintains records related to production, quality control tests, inventory, maintenance activities, and safety incidents, generate reports on production output, quality performance, and compliance status as required by the project or company.

  • Assist in training and developing the skills of plant operators and other personnel involved in batching plant operations, providing guidance on equipment operation, quality control procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
