Purpose of the Job:

To support decision making, planning, strategy development and operational excellence within Nisir by designing and implementing primary research programs/projects to collect and process accurate data. The position is also responsible for supporting accurate and efficient analysis and interpretation of data by providing technical assistance and advice.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in conducting market research to gain market place trends and insights, and to identify growth opportunities through various interventions. 

• Collaborate with product Management Officer to determine customers' needs and desires by conducting research and obtaining market information.

• Develop internal and external data sources to improve Nisir’s understanding of product markets, pricing strategy competitor’s activities, and consumers, in order to make better ‘fact-based’ decisions to direct product and pricing management activities. 

• Comply with relevant regulation, legislation and ‘good market practice and internal policies and procedures. 

• Collaborate with product Management Officer to determine customers' needs and desires by conducting research and obtaining market information.

• Monitor trends and understand evolving business needs and priorities for data collection, analysis and reporting to drive the continuing development of standard data reports, analytical models and programs. 

• Develop appropriate research methodology for the collection, Company, and analysis of statistical data according to the end user needs. 

• Conduct regular economic and market study, monitor trends, develop forecasts of major economic and market trends, and share findings with management and staff of the Company in the form of reports/abstracts. 

• Determine and specify details of survey projects, including sources of information, procedures to be used, and the design of survey instruments and materials. 

• Liaise with the Company’s management to prioritize research projects, ensure that research efforts are delivering the best possible value to the Company.

• Deliver quality and consistent research projects/programs by establishing and implementing quality standards, processes, methodologies, and tools. 

• Use advanced statistical and optimization methods to assist in solving complex problems and provide advice and technical assistance on advanced technical issues. 

• Prepare and timely submit of reports, articles and abstracts reporting results from regular and specific research projects. 

• Collaborate with user departments/functions to ensure successful implementation of models and analytical techniques and effective use of research outcomes.

• Conduct research to understand organizational performance, solve complex problems, identify and implement new approaches and methods that support strategic decision making and operational efficiency.

• Serve as a key member of data governance, and contribute to strong data governance processes and policies, standardization and business ownership of data to ensure Business Intelligence data quality and security.  

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Project Management, or related fields

•  2 years relevant experience
