Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a national CSO registered in Ethiopia. The organization has five major programs: Child Well-being and Education Development, Gender and Life Skill Development, Employable Skills Development, Advocacy, and Humanitarian Emergency Programs. DEC actively works in seven National Regional States and one city administration of Ethiopia, namely Amhara, Afar, Oromia, Tigray, South West Ethiopia, Gambela, Benishangul Gumuz, and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit for the following positions: Shelter Officers, Shelter Assistance Coordinator, Cashier Accountant, Foreman, Data Clerk, and Driver,
Duty Station; GAMBELLA, Luakdong

Role and Responsibilities
Enter data from paper-based or electronic sources into databases, spreadsheets, or data management systems.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of data before entry.
Collect data for each constructed shelter, including GPS coordinates
Update and maintain databases regularly, ensuring no data is missing or duplicated
Support field teams in collecting data using forms, tablets, or mobile tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK).
Assist with printing, organizing, and distributing data collection tools.
Support in scanning, photocopying, or digitizing physical records as needed
Generate basic reports, summaries, or charts from collected data when requested.
Maintain well-organized physical and digital filing systems for easy access and reference.
Ensure timely submission of data to relevant teams or authorities
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Information Management, ICT, Office Administration, or related fields is an advantage.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in data entry, record keeping, or administrative roles. Experience in NGO or community-based programs is a plus.
Additional Skill
Ability to work in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with local building regulations and the Gambella region is a plus.

Job Requirements Candidates should have a Degree in Information Management, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Office Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution. Candidates should have one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience in data entry, record keeping, or administrative roles. Experience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or community-based programs is an added advantage. Candidates should possess relevant additional skills required for effective data management and administrative support.
