Job Summary

The Data Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing Cardiac related research data, ensuring data quality and integrity, developing and maintaining research databases, supporting electronic data collection systems, and preparing datasets and reports for cardiovascular research projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain research databases.

• Design and manage electronic data collection systems (e.g., REDCap or similar platforms).

• Perform routine data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.

• Ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of research data.

• Prepare periodic reports and datasets for statistical analysis.

• Support investigators and research teams with data management activities.

• Train and provide technical support to data collectors and research staff.

• Maintain data documentation, codebooks, and standard operating procedures.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Cardiovascular Research Program.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• MPH with Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or another relevant field.

• At least six (6) months of demonstrated experience in data manager cardiovascular related research projects or cardiovascular health programs.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, or R is desirable.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary research team.

Job Requirements This role requires a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or another related field. The successful candidate should have a minimum of six months of demonstrated experience in data management for cardiovascular research projects or other cardiovascular-related programs. Proven ability to manage and maintain research data, ensure data quality and accuracy, support data analysis, adhere to research protocols, and contribute to the successful implementation of cardiovascular research activities is essential.
