Raras Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Data Center Facility (DCF) Presales Team Lead to lead the design, costing, and technical solutioning of data center infrastructure opportunities. The role bridges customer requirements, engineering design, and commercial proposals, ensuring technically sound, compliant, and competitive solutions.

The DCF Presales Team Lead will oversee presales engineers, drive bid responses, develop technical proposals, and support sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from requirement analysis to contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Presales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the DCF Presales Engineers (PSEs).

  • Allocate presales resources based on opportunity complexity and priority.

  • Review and validate technical designs, BoMs, and proposals prepared by the team.

  • Establish presales best practices, standards, and documentation templates.

  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Deployment teams.

Solution Design & Technical Architecture

  • Translate customer requirements into end-to-end data center facility solutions.

  • Design scalable and compliant data center infrastructure including:

    • Power systems (UPS, generators, PDUs, batteries)

    • Cooling and precision air-conditioning systems

    • Structured cabling (UTP/STP, fiber optics)

    • Racks, containment, and layout designs

    • Fire detection and suppression systems

    • Physical security, access control, CCTV, and monitoring systems

  • Develop High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), ATP, and as-built documentation.

Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Lead the technical response for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders related to DCF solutions.

  • Prepare and validate:

    • Technical proposals

    • Compliance matrices

    • Bills of Material (BoM) and technical assumptions

    • Scope definitions, exclusions, and dependencies

  • Ensure proposals align with customer requirements, vendor standards, and internal governance.

  • Support pricing and commercial strategy in coordination with Sales and Commercial teams.

Site Surveys & Technical Assessments

  • Conduct or oversee site surveys and technical assessments.

  • Identify risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities.

  • Prepare accurate take-offs, capacity calculations, and infrastructure sizing.

  • Provide clear technical recommendations backed by data and best practices.

Vendor & Partner Engagement

  • Work closely with OEMs and vendors (Huawei, Vertiv, Cannovate, etc.).

  • Support deal registration, technical clarifications, and solution validation.

  • Review vendor quotations for technical compliance and optimization.

  • Ensure alignment between vendor solutions and customer expectations.

  • Ensure all presales deliverables comply with, RFP requirements, Industry standards and Internal procedures

  • Review SLAs, technical compliance, and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain accurate records and shared document repositories.

  • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and solution workshops.

  • Act as the technical authority during presales discussions.

  • Provide clear, confident, and professional technical explanations.

  • Support customer confidence and trust in Raras Technologies’ solutions.

Quality, Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all presales deliverables comply with, RFP requirements, Industry standards and Internal procedures

  • Review SLAs, technical compliance, and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain accurate records and shared document repositories.

Customer Engagement & Technical Advisory

  • Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and solution workshops.

  • Act as the technical authority during presales discussions.

  • Provide clear, confident, and professional technical explanations.

  • Support customer confidence and trust in Raras Technologies’ solutions.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of data center facility infrastructure.

  • Proven experience with:

    • Power distribution, UPS, batteries, and DC power systems

    • Precision cooling and air-conditioning systems

    • Structured cabling and critical facility infrastructure

  • Solid understanding of data center monitoring and management systems.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vendor certifications (Huawei, Vertiv, Cannovate, or similar).

  • Experience leading presales or technical teams.

  • Prior involvement in large-scale data center projects.

  • Familiarity with presales and bid management processes.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ICT, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in data center facilities or critical infrastructure.

  • At least 2 years in a presales, solution design, or technical leadership role
