Raval Steel Manufacturing PLC is one of Ethiopia’s leading steel producers and part of the Raval Group, a multinational industrial investment company with operations across Africa. The company operates a large-scale manufacturing facility and plays a key role in supplying steel products to the construction and industrial sectors.
The company is seeking a highly capable Deputy Logistics Manager to support its growing operations and ensure efficient supply chain and logistics performance.

Position: Deputy Logistics Manager
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Support the Senior Managers in overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations
• Coordinate transportation and fleet operations for inbound raw materials and outbound finished products
• Negotiate contracts and rates with transporters and third-party logistics providers
• Manage import processes and ensure compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations
• Liaise with customs clearing agents and relevant government authorities
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Implement safety standards for the storage and handling of heavy materials
• Develop and track KPIs related to logistics performance and cost optimization
• Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
• Prepare regular logistics reports for senior management
• Supervise logistics staff and support team development and training
• Act as the Logistics Manager in their absence

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably in steel or heavy industry, is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian customs regulations and logistics processes
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

Additional Requirements
