On behalf of our client, Raval Steel Manufacturing PLC, we are looking for a competent candidate to fill the position of Deputy Procurement Manager.
Position Overview

Raval Steel Manufacturing PLC, located in the Bahir Dar Industry Zone, is the largest steel factory in the Amhara Region, producing high-quality steel products for the local and regional market.

The Deputy Procurement Manager will oversee strategic procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the procurement function delivers on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Job Title: Deputy Procurement Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Addis Ababa, Atlas Area

Reports To: Procurement Manager

Salary: ETB 60,000–80,000 gross per month (negotiable for the right fit).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Procurement Manager in developing procurement strategies.
• Oversee high-value and complex procurement projects.
• Manage key supplier relationships and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal procurement regulations.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree or above in Business, Logistics, or related fields.
• 10+ years’ procurement experience in manufacturing companies.
• Experience in a steel factory is advantageous.
• Experience working with foreign partners/expats is advantageous.
