About the Role

EASE Engineering is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join its Technical & Commercial Department.

The successful candidate will coordinate design information, multidisciplinary interfaces, design submissions, approvals, BIM requirements, and technical deliverables to ensure that complete and approved design information is available for tendering and construction.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

• Review tender drawings, specifications, and available design information.

• Identify missing, conflicting, or incomplete design information and coordinate required clarifications.

• Coordinate technical input from ASE and other appointed specialists.

• Coordinate tender technical requirements and design deliverables.

• Support constructability reviews with Operations / Project Delivery.

• Identify design risks that may affect cost, programme, or project execution.

• Coordinate BIM requirements where applicable.

• Support technical tender submissions.

Post-Contract

• Coordinate ASE and other appointed designers and maintain clear design interfaces.

• Prepare and monitor design schedules.

• Track design submissions, reviews, comments, and approvals.

• Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and technical clarifications.

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist design interfaces.

• Track design changes and ensure current revisions are clearly identified.

• Coordinate technical material submissions.

• Ensure approved drawings and design information are available for construction.

• Coordinate BIM information and model-based coordination where applicable.

• Coordinate as-built information and design closeout.

BIM Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate project BIM requirements where applicable.

• Coordinate model reviews and interface checking.

• Support clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Coordinate model information with drawings and construction requirements.

• Coordinate external BIM support when required.

• Coordinate specialist BIM modelling carried out by ASE, appointed designers, or external specialists.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant design-coordination experience.

• Strong drawing-reading and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

• AutoCAD capability required.

• Revit/BIM coordination capability required.

• Contractor or design-build experience is preferred.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
