Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and growth of the Diagnostic Imaging and Advanced Laboratory branch. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, efficient service delivery, and effective team management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Management, or with related field of study.

  • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, or related) is an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in Diagnostic Imaging and/or Advanced Laboratory Services
    out of which 2–3 years in a Supervisory or Managerial role

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of diagnostic imaging (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) and laboratory services

  • Ensure smooth workflow, minimal downtime, and timely reporting of results

  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements

  • Implement and monitor quality control systems for both imaging and laboratory services

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems

Staff Management

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate medical and administrative staff

  • Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage

  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and continuous development

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage branch budget, expenses, and revenue performance

  • Monitor billing, insurance claims, and cost control measures

  • Prepare operational and financial reports

  • Patient Care & Service Excellence

  • Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction

  • Address patient concerns and resolve complaints effectively

  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to expand services and improve efficiency

  • Build relationships with healthcare providers and partners

  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound)

  • Knowledge of advanced laboratory systems and procedures

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements

  • Proven experience in diagnostic imaging or laboratory services
