We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dairy Farm Manager to lead and optimize our dairy operations at Zoma Museum PLC. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of farm management, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, milk production, and operational efficiency. You will leverage your expertise to implement best practices in dairy farming while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Oversee daily operations of the dairy farm, including animal husbandry, milking processes, and feed management.
•Implement and monitor animal health programs to ensure optimal welfare and productivity.
•Manage a team of farmworkers, providing training and guidance to enhance skills and performance.
•Develop and execute feeding programs based on nutritional analysis to maximize milk yield and quality.
•Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while ensuring that all farm activities align with industry standards.
•Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor production metrics and implement improvements.
•Coordinate with veterinary services to manage herd health and vaccination schedules.
•Prepare and manage budgets, forecasting financial performance, and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
•Engage with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.

Job Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in dairy farm management or a similar role.
•Strong understanding of dairy farming practices, animal nutrition, and herd management.
•Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
Preferred:
•Experience with traditional dairy farm management.
•Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and animal welfare regulations.
•Familiarity with financial management and budgeting in an agricultural context.
