Position:
Organization: Integrated Service on Health and Development Organization
Accountable to the Area Coordinator, the principal responsibility of the DIC Health Care Provider is assisting KPPs including FSWs to get proper HIV prevention and preventive clinical services including SBCC, peer education, risk screening, risk reduction counseling, confidential HTC, basic RH services, and STI screening and referral services. She/he will capture daily service data and report activities of the DIC regularly.
Perform HIV risk screening using standard tools
Coordinate and provide intensive SBCC including peer session and distribution of tailored SBCC material to FSWs
Conduct community-based KPP focused HIV testing including ICT, self-test and referral linkage for treatment, & additional services
Organize and conduct awareness-raising sessions on PMTCT, VCT, ART, condom promotion and self-risk assessment for FSWs
Maintain functionality smooth relationship of the referral systems between DICs & network health facilities.
Make regular and successful referrals to health centers for ART, TB, GBV services, rape case services, and other complications.
Promote and distribute Condom for FSW Provide late-hour services, as well as holiday and weekend prevention and clinical services to DIC beneficiaries.
Organize and conduct mini outreach at hotspot areas
Create and maintain partnership and collaboration with local stakeholders and partners for effective implementation of the KPP service provision,
Ensure that DIC equipment’s and materials including audiovisual equipment are functional and maintained in good situation.
Ensure that beneficiaries follow the rules and regulations of DIC
Create a conducive and healthy environment for FSW to access DICs.
Request, collect and efficiently utilized health commodities from HO/Hubs using standard formats.
Ensure that the DIC maintains enough stock (equipment, detergent, prevention commodities, health commodity and supplies etc.) and request such materials in advance.
Capture regular service data using standard registers, DHIS2 formats both electronically and in hard copies
Review and Verification of data on the biomedical and behavioral interventions
Have a close working relationships with local public and private health facilities
Be responsible in identifying and documenting success stories and best practices
Participate in catchment area meetings and facility- community coordination platforms
Coordinate identification & selection of peer educators
Facilitate community edutainment events to convey HIV prevention messages
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for the Area Coordinator that includes progress, challenges, and any other issues pertaining to his/her duties.
Perform other duties assigned by his or her immediate supervisor
Required education and experiences
Health officer, BSC in nursing or Public Health
Minimum of three years clinical experience, and must have experience and training in HIV counseling and testing is Mandatory, STI screening, and providing other RH services.
Have a good knowledge and skills in conducting KP mapping, peer sessions, training coordination and facilitation, communication and report writing, and documentation.
NGO experience, specifically experience with KPP HIV prevention interventions
Working at DIC will be a plus

Excellent written and communication skills in English and local languages
