Job Summary: we are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate Cabby-share service requests, assign drivers, monitor trips, and support smooth daily operations. The dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring timely service, driver efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage customer calls through the system or call center

  • Dispatch trips to the right driver based on location, customer demand and availability 

  • Monitor ongoing trips and respond to delays, emergencies, or incidents 

  • Communicate clearly with drivers and customer support teams

  • Maintain accurate trip and dispatch records 

  • Support drivers with route guidance and operational issues 

  • Escalate complaints, safety issues, and system problems to supervisors 

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and SOPs of Cabby-Et

Salary: Negotiable

Job Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (prior experience in dispatch, call center, transport, or logistics is an advantage)

  • Customer-service-oriented mindset

  • High level of attention and reliability 

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital systems   

  • Strong communication and coordination skills 

  • Strong knowledge of route and traffic patterns in Addis Ababa & surrounding areas

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multitasks 

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends

  • With integrity, reliable, committed, disciplined and appropriate for teamwork
