Job Summary: Making sure the business, financial and operational activities of the Branches are in line with the Bank’s policies, procedures, applicable laws and regulations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enabling branches to achieve performance against the agreed target

  • Oversees the overall customers’ transactions, Credit and Service activities of branches under his/her domain

  • Oversees and participates in the development, expansion and management of customer- business relationships, through concerted effort in meeting customer needs.

  • Manage, coach, and support branches and district office staff in developing, managing, and growing profitable customer relationships.

  • Ensure effective and proper utilization of resources

  • Represent the Bank in social and official affairs.

  • Provide support to the process owners in their designing, coaching and advocacy roles.

  • Attends to and solve complaints and queries of individuals, government organizations, public enterprises, cooperatives and other institutions on affairs related to operational activities along with head office Government affairs manager.

  • Measure the operational performance of Branch Managers and area office staff under his/her domain periodically

  • Facilitate and provide logistics to customer relationship management and credit risk management teams in the area.

  • Circularize NBE instructions, such as blocking and release of government and public institutions’ accounts to branches

  • Motivates and coaches branch managers 

  • Coordinate inter-branch operational relations

  • Handle correspondences

  • Follow-up rectification of discrepancies and comments reported by internal Auditors/Branch Controller

  • Follow up on the progress, construction and renovation of newly opened branches and the physical condition of the existing ones 

  • Follow-up and arrange the supply of office equipment, furniture & fittings and human resources approved to new and existing branches.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business-related fields.

  •  With 6/8 years of banking/MF experience respectively, of which 2 years as  a Senior officer/Team leader in the Banking industry area

Job Requirements This role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other business-related fields, along with relevant professional experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree should have a minimum of 6 years of experience, while Bachelor’s degree holders should have at least 8 years of experience in banking or microfinance sectors.
