Position Overview
CoffeeNet Trading PLC is hiring a detail-oriented and organized Documentation Team Officer to oversee and maintain accurate export and import documentation processes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely preparation, verification, and submission of shipping, regulatory, and compliance documents related to the coffee export business. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically in English, and a proactive approach to coordinating with internal departments and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Shipment Documentation: Prepare and review export invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading while obtaining necessary certificates and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Shipping and Logistics Liaison: Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and logistics partners to monitor and track shipments for timely delivery.
Post-Shipment Management: Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and ensure timely completion of post-shipment documentation.
Regulatory Compliance: Apply knowledge of customs regulations and export laws to handle any documentation issues and ensure full legal adherence.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, shippers, and government authorities to facilitate effective communication.

Job Specifications
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Ethiopian custom laws, export documentation processes, and sea/air freight documentation.
Education
degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Work Experience and Skills:
2 - 4 years of direct or related work experience
Strong command of English for written and spoken communication.
Excellent knowledge of essay writing
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel), email clients, and PDF tools.
Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Competencies:
Regulatory Expertise: Ability to accurately apply customs procedures and international trade standards.
Logistics Coordination: Skill in verifying freight against documentation and tracking international cargo.
