Sunrise Pharma Import is a pharmaceutical import company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We are seeking two safe, punctual, and professional Drivers to execute daily delivery routes and support the company’s distribution operations.

Job Summary

The Driver will execute scheduled order-delivery routes, transport pharmaceutical products in line with company and regulatory requirements, and transport sales staff safely for approved business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily delivery routes as scheduled by the Technical Manager and Operations team.

• Transport all products in compliance with pharmaceutical transport standards and as needed, transport relevant staff for approved work assignments.

• Collect customer-signed delivery notes and invoices at the point of delivery and return all documents to Finance on the same day.

• Handle check-on-delivery and withholding collections as applicable.

• Maintain the delivery vehicle in roadworthy condition; conduct daily pre-trip inspections and report defects immediately.

• Maintain the delivery log and timely reporting in the company ERP system, confirming delivery status, quantity, time, and recipient signature for every order.

• Support emergency deliveries outside normal routing when requested by the Operations team and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Obey Ethiopian traffic laws and company safety, vehicle-use, and cash-handling procedures at all times.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Valid Ethiopian driving license i.e. valid Public Transport Category I / ህዝብ 1 (P1) or valid Truck I / ደረቅ 1 Driver’s Qualification Certification License.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of driving experience. Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, import, FMCG, courier, delivery, or staff-transport operations is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of Addis Ababa routes and surrounding areas.

• Ability to complete delivery notes, receipts, vehicle logs, staff-transport records, and basic ERP entries.

• Basic English and good Amharic communication skills.

• Clean driving record, honesty, punctuality, professional conduct, and strong safety awareness.

• Ability to work flexible hours and support urgent deliveries or staff-transport needs when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transporting pharmaceutical products and familiarity with temperature sensitive product handling.

• Experience handling documentation and collections.

• Experience driving electric vehicles is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ERP/delivery-log systems
