Job Title:   Driver-Public Transport I

Sex: Female or Male

Term of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of Probation Period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation: Safely and efficiently operate a vehicle to transport goods, equipment, or passengers to their destinations.

• Route and schedule management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, use GPS, and adjust plans based on traffic, weather, or other delays.

• Vehicle maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections, perform basic maintenance, and report any issues promptly to management.

• Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery details, and any incidents that occur.

• Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload cargo or assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.

• Communication: Interact professionally with clients and passengers, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors.

• Safety compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. 

Job Requirements

Required Educational Attainment: 10/12

Experience: Minimum of 4 years relevant experience 

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Salary: Company’s Scale

Reports to: Deputy GM-HR and Property Administration

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Valid Driving License

• Good Communication Skill.
