Druggist / Store Officer is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and compliant management of pharmaceutical products within Droga's warehouse or store. ensures the proper receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of products, strictly adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Druggist / Store Officer will uphold the integrity of our product chain, contribute to our commitment for on-time delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming pharmaceutical products and materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders, delivery notes, and waybills.

  • Conduct initial visual inspection of products for quality, damage, and expiry dates upon arrival.

  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues immediately to the relevant department (e.g., Quality Assurance, Supply Chain).

  • Ensure proper documentation of all incoming goods.

  • Store pharmaceutical products according to manufacturer's instructions, regulatory guidelines, company policies, ensuring proper temperature, and light conditions.

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised storage facility, ensuring easy accessibility and identification of products.

  • Implement and monitor security measures to prevent theft or unauthorised access to the store.

  • Accurately record all stock movements 

  • Monitor stock levels, identify low stock items, and prepare requisitions for replenishment to prevent stock-outs and meet demand.

  • Track and manage products nearing expiry, initiating appropriate actions for return, destruction, or special handling according to policy.

  • Accurately pick and prepare pharmaceutical products for dispatch based on approved sales orders or requisitions.

  • Ensure correct product, quantity, batch number, and expiry date are picked for each order.

  • Coordinate with the Sales and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders, including preparation of necessary documentation.

  • Implement and follow procedures for handling damaged, expired, or recalled products.

  • Ensure the safety and security of all pharmaceutical products under their care.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Pharmacy.

  • Above one years of experience in Drug store (Druggist).
