Yimaru Academy is an English training center helping Ethiopians master spoken English through video-based lessons for Amharic speakers. We’re seeking passionate English Teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality Video lessons for learners of all levels.

Job time period is (2-3 weeks)

Salary: 15000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear and engaging video-based English lessons.

• Use lesson plans and guides to prepare effective recordings.

• Incorporate Amharic-to-English explanations as needed.

• Adapt lessons for clarity, engagement, and simplicity.

• Collaborate with content developers and video editors for polished lessons.

• Provide feedback to improve lesson quality and learner experience.

Job Requirements

• Education: Applicants from any field

• Experience: 1-3 years

• strong English communication skills are welcome.

Required Skills:

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Ability to deliver clear, engaging video lessons.

• Comfortable explaining concepts in Amharic when needed.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Desirable:

• Prior teaching/training experience or familiarity with video-based instruction.
  Experience creating teaching videos focused on English proficiency exams.

• NB: Fluent English is required!!
